History of Taken Altar

Overview

The Taken Altar is in Eris Morn's flat in The Last City, opposite the Shaping Slab. It is used in Episode: Heresy to turn in Metastasized Essentia.

Turn-in

Metastasized Essentia is offered in batches of ten. Reported rewards differ between guides and include Essence of Desire, Taken Mastery, Enhancement Cores, Enhancement Prisms, Reprised weapons and Episode: Heresy reputation.

Acquisition of Essentia

Essentia is collected in the Nether activity on the Dreadnaught. Fleeting Essentia nodes are refined into Metastasized Essentia by defeating the boss at the end of each zone. Uncollected Fleeting Essentia is lost if the team is wiped or leaves.
