History of Synaptic Spear

The Synaptic Spear is a relic using Light-suppressing technology, used in PsiOps Battleground activities. It is the only way to kill the Aspects of Savathûn, which are otherwise immune to damage (Destinypedia). It spawns at set points in the arena; thrown at an Aspect it tracks almost perfectly. In the Mor'ak Lightstealer fight Aspects appear at 75% and 25% boss health, and killing them opens a damage phase. Eight Aspect kills with it are needed for the This House is Clean triumph. Note: the task note called it a mechanic; sources describe it as a relic.
