History of Summum Bonum

Overview

Summum Bonum is a legendary Arc Sword with a Wave Sword frame (the heavy attack sends out a shockwave uppercut) on heavy ammo. Vorpal Weapon and Whirlwind Blade are listed, and it is the only sword with Chaos Reshaped; High Ground Gaming calls the weapon otherwise average. Like every weapon in the raid it has the Collective Purpose origin trait: bonus range and handling when near allies (faster charge rate for swords), scaling with the number of nearby allies.

Acquisition

Drops from Salvation's Edge (launched June 7, 2024; requires The Final Shape). Kyber's Corner and The Game Post list it as craftable, so red-border drops can be used to extract a pattern. An Summum Bonum (Adept) version drops from Master difficulty.
