History of Suffocating Terror

Overview

Suffocating Terror is a debuff applied by large Taken eyes in the Mausoleum area of the Dreadnaught, during the Derealize Exotic mission.

Stacks

Stacks build while a Guardian is in an eye's line of sight, so keeping out of their view and using cover is the main way to limit them. Reported thresholds differ: one guide warns that health starts dropping at around 17 stacks, and advises waiting the effect out under cover.

Clearing the eyes

The Taken eyes disappear as you defeat the waves of enemies around them, and the mission requires this three times to advance. Defeating the Tormentors that appear also removes the eyes.
