History of Strange Matter

Strange Matter is a Material introduced with the Monument of Triumph update. It is gathered in Distorted Destinations by defeating foes and completing activities, with each source yielding between 1 and 7 units. Guardians can hold up to 999. Every 50 units convert automatically into a Strange Signal.

Its first appearance is also credited to Destiny 2: Lawless.
