History of Strand Fragment

Strand Fragments are passive upgrades for the Strand subclasses: Berserker for Titans, Threadrunner for Hunters, and Broodweaver for Warlocks. Each Fragment adds an effect tied to a specific Strand action, such as reloading on grenade use or creating Threadlings on final blows.

Fragments are bought with Strand Meditations at the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes on Neomuna, after completing the Lightfall campaign on any difficulty. Each character buys them separately, and equipping Strand Aspects unlocks Fragment slots. Bungie removed the launch-era purchase restrictions on March 2, 2023.
