History of Still Hunt

Still Hunt is an Exotic Solar Sniper Rifle from Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, Cayde's Retribution, charges a Super bar when you pick up Orbs of Power or land precision hits. When full, hold reload to fire Golden Gun shots, usable by any class. Destructoid notes strong handling, very little recoil, and that charging the bar is hard without an Orb-focused build.

Acquisition

Complete the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign, then speak to Cayde-6 at the Tower and finish the Wild Card Exotic quest (about 45 minutes, self-contained). Cayde gives you the rifle at the end.

Catalyst

The catalyst adds the Lucky Shot effect (reloading after a precision final blow lets precision hits refill a round from reserves). Gfinity reports it drops from ritual activities (Vanguard Ops, Crucible, Gambit) after the Monument of Triumph update. Destructoid's earlier article noted no catalyst existed at launch.
