History of Starfire Protocol

Starfire Protocol is Exotic chest armor for Warlocks.

Overview

The intrinsic perk, Fusion Harness, gives your Fusion Grenades an additional charge, lets them recharge from damage dealt with empowered weapons (for example inside a Well of Radiance), and Fusion Grenade kills grant Rift energy. It pairs well with weapons such as Witherhoard and Gjallarhorn for boss damage. Armor slot: Warlock chest.

Acquisition

• Random Exotic engram drop, including from Powerful or Pinnacle rewards.
• Sold by Xûr when in stock.
• Legend or Master Lost Sectors on days when chest armor is the rotating reward.
• Exotic Armor Focusing with Rahool.
• Historical: in the original Destiny it was sold by Xûr for 13 Strange Coins after The Dark Below, then carried into Destiny 2 with updated mechanics (Destinypedia).
