History of Splicer Shank

The '''Splicer Shank''' is an ally in Renegades, obtained from the Pikers through Spider in the mission Fearsome Retainer. Spider brokers a deal in which the Guardian clears a Totality Division outpost on Mars in exchange for the Shank.

The Shank is used to hack the Barant Imperium's systems: it breaches security doors, accesses terminals and extracts encrypted data, which reveals the Imperium's plans for a dark matter projector. During the mission the Pikers betray the Guardian and the Spider's barge is ultimately destroyed by Imperium forces.

Not to be confused with the hostile SIVA-infused Splicer Shank enemy variant of the Fallen Shank from Rise of Iron.
