History of Spinmetal Leaves

Overview

Spinmetal Leaves were a destination material associated with the Cosmodrome. The leaves appeared on red canisters, and the material could also drop from Cosmodrome chests and Shaw Han bounties.

Status

Bungie disabled destination-material drops from resource nodes, chests and activities at the start of Season 19 in December 2022. In July 2025, Bungie deprecated destination materials entirely: Master Rahool no longer accepts them and they have no value. Bungie listed Spinmetal Leaves among the materials players could safely delete after July 15, 2025. The item is therefore a legacy collectible with no current acquisition or use.
