History of Soulfire

Overview

Soulfire is a throwable soulfire-infused worm from the Oblation Exotic mission. Players claim the soulfire charge after defeating the Soulfire Vessel Knight, dunk it in the brazier, and collect the worms it generates. Throwing a worm at a green crystal activates it. Activated crystals clear soulfire barriers such as the moat or jet blocking a path, and in the final encounter they drop the boss's shields.

Timer

The worm has a timer of about 19 seconds. Guides differ on what happens when it runs out: one says the worm explodes in the player's hands, while another only describes the timer limit.

Triumph

Collecting the worms is tied to the Oh Worm? triumph, which asks for 9 hidden worms in the mission.
