History of Soulburn

Overview

Soulburn is the intrinsic perk of Cull's Shadow, a kinetic Fusion Rifle introduced in Monument of Triumph. Final blows or rapid hits with the weapon's frontal blades heal the player and grant Soulfire Charges. While charged, the weapon's rounds inflict Corruption, and the blades deal extra damage to corrupted targets.

Mechanics

Soulburn works alongside Soulforge, the Exotic perk on the same weapon. Corrupted targets that die leave soulfire crystals, and destroying a crystal causes a damaging detonation in a radius. The Soulfire Succor catalyst also grants Soulfire Charges when crystals are destroyed with the blades.

Acquisition

Cull's Shadow is obtained by completing Oblation: Bloodline. Its catalysts come from Oblation: Soulfed and Oblation: Immolation.
