History of Sol Progeny

Overview

The Sol Progeny are a triad of Vex Minds in The Black Garden that serve as vessels for the Black Heart. They are the Primeval Mind, Imminent Mind and Eschaton Mind, each reflecting a different era of the Sol Collectives. They appear as lifeless statues until the Black Heart summons them to defend it.

The Black Garden

In The Black Garden, the Progeny defended the Black Heart against the Guardian, who had entered to destroy it so the Traveler could heal. The Progeny were defeated and the Black Heart was destroyed. The Sol Divisive later recreated the Black Heart under the orders of the Witness. Its successors, the Temporal Progeny (Established Mind, Inevitable Mind and Synchronal Mind), defended it and also failed.
