History of Snowstorm

Overview

Snowstorm is the blizzard that overtakes the keep in the Wailing Tempest encounter of Warlord's Ruin, against the Locus of Wailing Grief. It applies the Biting Cold debuff, which kills the player at 10 stacks. Guides also call the debuff Biting Winds.

Trigger

The encounter starts by destroying a central Taken Blight, which summons Blighted Eyes. Six eyes spawn after the first wave of adds, and destroying them spawns two Broken Knights. The blizzard starts once a totem spawns.

Removing the debuff

Stand near the torches along the back wall of the arena. This removes the stacks and grants the Shelter From The Storm buff.
