History of Skyburner's Oath

Skyburner's Oath is an Exotic Solar Scout Rifle built around Cabal gear.

Overview

Perks: Slug Rifle (lobs explosive projectiles), For the Empire (full-auto fire, bonus damage against Cabal and penetrates Phalanx shields) and Short-Action Stock. The inscription reads "Inexorable victory."

Acquisition

Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops.

Catalyst

Drops randomly from Strikes, Crucible and Gambit. Unlocking it takes 500 kills (Cabal kills count extra). Once complete it adds 20 reload speed and the perks Incandescent and Burning Ambition. Sources vary on exact kill counts; some say 1,000 Cabal kills.
