Overview

Skirmish is a historical Destiny 1 Crucible mode: a 3v3 team-deathmatch playlist where fallen Guardians leave revivable ghosts, rewarding teams for revives. In a 2024 Destiny 2 update, Bungie described a temporary 3v3 Clash variant as inspired by Skirmish, with revives enabled; that was an homage, not a permanent Skirmish playlist. This page documents the historical mode and its explicitly dated D2 reference.
