History of Shoot to Score

Overview

Shoot to Score is the weekly PvE score quest of the Guardian Games event, taken from Eva Levante in the Tower. It repeats each week and appears across multiple years of the event. It is a Legendary quest, listed on the Destiny 2 Wiki as Season 16 with 18 steps. Not a one-time quest; it is event-limited and only available while Guardian Games runs.

Walkthrough

1. Play the Guardian Games competitive playlist (the Rushdown activity, a boss-rush PvE mode in the 2025 event; the earlier 2023 event used the Strike playlist) and earn Vanguard Medals / score.
2. Reach each score tier in order: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. Thresholds on the wiki are 50,000 / 100,000 / 150,000 / 175,000; a 2025 guide quotes 70,000-350,000 for rewards, so thresholds differ by year.
3. Light the Scoring Torch in the Tower behind the Podium for each tier reached to claim rewards and glows.
4. At Platinum you are told to keep earning glory. The quest advances to the next week's cycle at weekly reset regardless of completion.

Rewards

Guardian Games Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Rewards. Guardian Games 2023 listed items like the Taraxippos scout rifle and The Title SMG; 2025 added the Keraunios trace rifle.
