History of Shoot to Score

Overview

Shoot to Score is the weekly score quest of the Guardian Games event. Commander Zavala gives it once you reach step 6 of the Best in Class quest, which starts with Eva Levante. It is a Legendary quest from Season 16 and is only available while Guardian Games runs. Its PvP counterpart is Vying for Supremacy, given by Lord Shaxx.

Walkthrough

1. Pick up the quest from Commander Zavala after step 6 of Best in Class.
2. Each week, play the event's scoring activity. In the 2025 event this was the Rushdown activity; the Competitive playlist was used in earlier events.
3. Reach each score tier in order: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Thresholds change between events. The 2025 thresholds were 70,000, 150,000, 250,000 and 350,000. An earlier event used 50,000, 100,000, 150,000 and 175,000.
4. For each tier you reach, light the matching Scoring Torch in the Tower to claim its rewards and glows.
5. The steps repeat each week of the event.
