History of Shards of Galanor

Shards of Galanor are Exotic Hunter gauntlets (arm armor) that debuted with Destiny 2: Forsaken. They reward Blade Barrage play.

Overview

The intrinsic perk is Sharp Edges: hits and kills with Blade Barrage return Super energy. Since Update 7.3.0 (Season of the Wish), Throwing Knife kills also grant roughly 2.5% to 5% Super energy depending on the enemy type. The flavor text refers to the legendary Sword of Galanor.

Acquisition

• Random drop from Exotic engrams (the in-game source line also lists extremely rare world drops).
• Xûr has sold it in the past; check his weekend inventory.
• Requires the Forsaken expansion to be owned.

Sources differ slightly on Xûr availability, so verify his current stock.
