History of Security Optic

The Security Optic is a Fallen Servitor of the Ultra rank, first seen in Season of Plunder. It is the boss of the Ketchcrash activity and protects the Treasure Hoard of the Pirate Ketch.

The Optic is stationary and mounted on the ceiling. It sweeps its eye across the room, slowing and weakening Guardians caught in its radius.

It starts with an invulnerable shield. Killing the three Security Servitors, which guard marked positions, captures the areas they defend and removes the shield. Once vulnerable, it summons four Security Turrets and more reinforcements. At half health the shield returns, the turrets are restored and more servitors spawn, so the process repeats. When the Optic is destroyed, its turrets dematerialize and the encounter ends.
