History of Scribe

Overview

A Scribe is the role held by Eido, the Eliksni who serves as the "Scribe of the House of Light". Her job is to document the House's history, preserve Eliksni traditions and culture, recount Fallen history to Guardians and act as a bridge between the Eliksni and humanity in the Last City. As she puts it, she preserves the House's history "so that hatchlings may one day learn our stories".

Training

Per Destinypedia, Eido travelled to the Dreaming City and the Reef and trained as a Scribe under the Awoken Techeuns, although her adoptive father Mithrax initially pushed her toward becoming a Sacred Splicer instead.

Appearances

Eido appears from Season of the Splicer onward. Destiny Game Wiki notes that in Episode: Revenant she acts as a seasonal vendor (Apothecary), offering tonic recipes and crafting materials. Destinypedia theorizes she wrote the lore book Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 3.
