History of Scoring Torches

Overview

The Scoring Torches are reward objects floating behind the Tower podium during Guardian Games. Lighting them unlocks rewards, and their progress resets each week of the event.

2023 event

In the 2023 Guardian Games, held during Season of Defiance, the PvE torches on the right of the podium are lit through the weekly Shoot to Score quest from Zavala. The PvP torches on the left are lit through the Vying for Supremacy quest from Shaxx. Both quests need a Platinum score in the matching playlist, Competitive for PvE and Supremacy for PvP.

Sources give different torch counts for 2023 (six or eight), and they differ on which quests light which torches. Details from other years can vary.
