History of Scorched Earth (modifier)

Overview

Scorched Earth is a Lost Sector modifier that makes enemies throw grenades significantly more often. It appears in Metamorphosis.

Effect

With the modifier active, grenades become a constant threat, so players usually clear the weaker enemies early with area-of-effect weapons and grenades of their own. Bringing Overload Grenades helps against the Overload Champions.

Difficulty

Scorched Earth is one of the modifiers on the Master difficulty of Metamorphosis, on top of the Legend set.
