History of Scallywag

Overview

Scallywag is the seal for Season of Plunder (Season 18, 23 August to 6 December 2022; 105 days per Shacknews). It grants the Scallywag title. It is no longer obtainable. TheGamer (updated 23 November 2022) says 8 of the 9 listed triumphs are needed. At launch the seal needed 10 triumphs; in a mid-season update (November 2022) Bungie cut it to 8 by removing "Semaphore Signals", which is why the shipped list differs from older guides.

Required triumphs

• Savior of the Seven Seas: defeat the Pirate Lords at each Pirate Hideout.
• With Full Sails: buy all Star Chart upgrades in the H.E.L.M..
• Beacon's Guidance: use the Treasure Beacons to find the buried treasure.
• Crew's Control: summon each of the three First Mate crewmates in Expeditions and Ketchcrash.
• Crash Course: complete Ketchcrash on Master.
• Scourge of Themis Cluster: defeat all three Ketchcrash bosses (they rotate weekly).
• Fabulous Wealth: deposit treasure into the haul (200 per TheGamer).
• Robber Baron: defeat Ruffians (10 Ruffian champions per TheGamer).
• Salty Smith: unlock Patterns for the seasonal weapons (Shacknews's launch list phrases it as crafting all six seasonal weapons). Guides call this by far the most time-consuming and the one to skip if you can, since the seal let you skip one.

Tips

Ketchcrash bosses and weekly gating mean planning ahead. Estimated time: most of the season.

Gilding

None.
