History of Saint's Fists

Overview

Saint's Fists is the intrinsic of Bastion, an Exotic Fusion Rifle. The rifle fires a rapid burst of three spreads of pure force.

A successful melee hit gives Bastion a short window of higher damage, faster charge, and better reload speed. Landing most of a burst's pellets on one target also boosts melee damage for a short time. This is what makes the rifle work in melee-focused builds.

A Final Shape-era article gives the melee buff as 45% damage for 7 seconds, and up to 150% melee damage from a full pellet hit. Those values may have changed in later updates, so check a current source before relying on them.
