History of Rumble

Rumble is a six-player free-for-all Crucible playlist. There are no teams: the first player to reach 20 final blows wins, or whoever has the most kills when the roughly eight-minute timer ends.

Overview

• Type: The Crucible playlist, six players, solo queue.
• Added: March 27, 2018 as part of a rotating weekly playlist alongside Mayhem; Destiny 2 launched without it because Bungie wanted all PvP at 4v4. It was brought back after player feedback.
• Today it is listed as a standing playlist in Crucible Ops (per a third-party guide; availability may vary by season).
• No revives or team shots, so it rewards solo gunplay and map awareness.
