History of Rull

Overview

Rull, Gun of Kaga-Clipse was a Clipse warrior who became one of the Shadows of Calus, the elite agents of Calus. Destinypedia says he was the sole survivor of an assault on the Leviathan and accepted Calus's offer of an alliance, with part of the Clipse being spared in exchange.

Story

Rull's first mission took him to the Cabal homeworld disguised as a foreign merchant bearing gifts of wine and spirits (Ishtar Collective). Destinypedia adds that he assassinated Iska'al and Aedile Moli Imoli on Torobatl and was then killed by Dominus Ghaul. Note that Destinypedia attributes these details to lore across seasons; Rull never appears in person in Destiny 2.

In Destiny 2

He is known through lore text on the Leviathan armor sets, such as Mask of Rull, Chassis of Rull, Gauntlets of Rull and Greaves of Rull, and mentions in Curse of Osiris and Season of Opulence.
