History of Rime-coat Raiment

Overview

Rime-coat Raiment is Exotic Warlock chest armor for Stasis, released in Season 25 (October 2024). Its Bleak Domain perk gives your Bleak Watcher turrets extended range and surrounds their landing area with Stasis crystals and a storm. Standing in the storm grants icicles over time, and firing your weapons releases them to apply Slow to targets they hit. On June 23, 2026, Bungie fixed an issue where turrets created with the Stasis Shatter Grenade did not inherit the Raiment's effects.

Acquisition

• At release (October 2024): Obtained through Focused Decoding with Rahool: reach reputation rank 16, reset the rank (once per episode), then spend an Exotic Engram and an Exotic Cipher. The Cipher came from Xûr's weekly Xenology quest.
• Since the July 15, 2025 update, Novel Focusing for Exotic armor from past expansions is available immediately, without the rank reset.
• Its listed source is solo Expert and Master Lost Sectors, which can still award an Exotic Engram at random.
