History of Righteous

Righteous is a seasonal armor set. In the Season of Dawn obelisk system, each Resonance rank-up on an obelisk grants a reward engram containing gear tied to that vendor, and Righteous armor is used as the example.

A 2020 Bungie forum discussion describes Righteous armor as a past-season item that did not drop from random rewards.
