History of Right Hook

Overview

Right Hook is a Season 18 Origin Trait from the Season of Plunder seasonal weapons. Dealing melee damage gives the weapon increased target acquisition and range for a short period. Each further melee hit extends the effect.

Weapons

The Season 18 weapons with Right Hook are Planck's Stride (Arc Machine Gun), Sailspy Pitchglass (Arc Linear Fusion Rifle), Brigand's Law (Arc Sidearm), No Reprieve (Stasis Shotgun), Blood Feud (Stasis Submachine Gun) and Tarnished Mettle (Arc Scout Rifle). Cry Mutiny also rolls it.

Tips

Right Hook rewards mixing melee into a gunfight. It is considered a better fit for shotguns and pistols than for machine guns and linear fusion rifles, which depend on sustained fire.
