History of Reward Score

Reward Score is the score a player earns from a Portal activity after the Reward Multiplier is applied. At the end of an activity the accumulated score, including any time bonus for finishing under the time limit, is multiplied by all applicable multipliers.

The Reward Multiplier is individual to each player and depends on the modifiers selected and that player's highest Power level, so fireteam members can end with different Reward Scores. Higher scores generally yield better loot, including higher gear tiers.
