History of Resonance

Overview

Resonance is the Darkness energy the Witness wields: orange, with topological spiralling helices. Per Destinypedia it was used by the Qugu to destroy a Pyramid ship.

In Salvation's Edge

In the Salvation's Edge raid, picking up a resonance gives a stacking debuff with a timer of about 90 seconds. It stacks to three, and a fourth pickup or the timer ending kills the player. Pyramid-shaped resonance appears in the first encounter, with orbs added later; picking up a different shape overwrites the old one. Players clear it at a Resonance Conductor by shooting the matching shape while holding the resonance and then stepping on the plate. See Iconoclast for the seal.
