History of Repulsor Brace

Repulsor Brace is a basic weapon trait introduced in Season 17: defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an Overshield. It can roll on the Void Shotgun Scavenger's Fate, where it pairs well with Destabilizing Rounds for Void builds. Blueberries.gg lists it as the first perk option on a PvE Scavenger's Fate roll, calling it a solid alternative to Discord, especially with the recent Void Overshield buffs.

Void overshield buffs

The No Backup Plans exotic gives a damage buff while the player has a Void overshield: 35% PvE and 10% PvP damage, applying to Shotguns only (Blueberries.gg buffs guide). That makes Repulsor Brace's overshield a natural fit on Void shotguns.

The debuff it keys off is in the Void Weaken category, which gives 15% PvE and 7.5% PvP bonus damage; its duration depends on the source, from 2.5 to 10 seconds in the Blueberries.gg table (for example, Snare Bomb applies 8 seconds in PvE and 2.5 seconds in PvP).
