History of Red Moon Phantom Grips

Overview

Red Moon Phantom Grips are the Legendary Gauntlets for Hunters in the Red Moon Phantom set, which first appeared in Forsaken (Year 2).

The set has five pieces: Red Moon Phantom Mask, Red Moon Phantom Grips, Red Moon Phantom Vest, Red Moon Phantom Steps and the Cloak of Five Full Moons. Its lore tells of a Guardian named Enitan, the "Red Moon Phantom", who appeared with amnesia in the Saharan Contested Zone, slew a Kell and killed Fallen threats the Warlord Kandak would not deal with, so Kandak put a bounty on her. A web search snippet described the set as PlayStation 4 exclusive content at Forsaken launch, but the opened Destinypedia page does not mention exclusivity, so that is unconfirmed here.
