History of Rain of Fire

Overview

Rain of Fire is an Exotic Warlock leg armor piece introduced in Season of the Haunted. Its perk, Soaring Fusilier, reloads your held weapons when you air dodge, improves airborne effectiveness for Fusion Rifles and Linear Fusion Rifles, and grants Radiant after final blows with those weapons.

Acquisition

• Exotic Armor Focusing: Exotic armor from past expansions is obtained through Rahool. A second focusing tier unlocks after resetting the reputation track once and resetting your rank; each purchase costs one Exotic Engram and one Exotic Cipher, with no weekly limit.
• Exotic Engrams: These come from weekly Ritual Challenges, random chance from Legend and Master Lost Sectors, Season Pass levels and other random drops.
• Original Lost Sector route: In Season of the Haunted, Rain of Fire dropped from the final chest of a Legend or Master Lost Sector completed solo. Lost Sectors rotated daily, and it first dropped on May 26, 2022 from K1 Revelation. Drops were not guaranteed and could be a different Exotic; Legend had a rare chance and Master a common chance. This exclusive drop has since been replaced by the focusing route above.
