History of Pyrogale Gauntlets

Pyrogale Gauntlets are Exotic Titan gauntlets for Sunbreaker builds, introduced in Season 22.

Overview

Their intrinsic perk, Percussive Flames, reshapes the Burning Maul Super into a single high-damage hammer slam that creates several cyclones of flame, so it can one-shot most enemies. They also work with the Consecration Aspect, the Solar Sunbreaker Aspect in which a powered melee during a slide can be followed by a mid-air ground slam that creates a flame cyclone applying Scorch. With Pyrogale equipped, Consecration's second slam creates a cyclone of flame.

Acquisition

• Exotic Armor Focusing: Since the July 15, 2025 update, Novel Focusing for Exotic armor from past expansions is available immediately, without a Rahool rank reset. Before that, a rank reset was required (2024).
• Historical Lost Sector route: Before The Final Shape, Legend and Master Lost Sectors and the Vex Strike Force event were routes to this armor. Lost Sectors can still drop an Exotic Engram at random.
