History of Pyrogale Gauntlets

Pyrogale Gauntlets are Exotic Titan gauntlets for Sunbreaker builds.
Overview
They reshape Burning Maul into one high-damage slam that creates flame cyclones. The second slam of Consecration creates a tracking flame cyclone. Bungie updated the perk description in October 2023 to match its gameplay; in February 2024 it extended the travel distance of Consecration's scorch and ignition waves, including with Pyrogale equipped.
Acquisition
- Exotic Armor Focusing: Bungie's July 15, 2025 update states that Novel Focusing for Exotic armor from past expansions is available immediately, without unlocking it through a Rahool rank reset. Shacknews' June 2024 rank-reset instructions predate this change.
- Historical Lost Sector route: Before The Final Shape, Legend and Master Lost Sectors and Vex Strike Force were armor-unlock routes. Shacknews reported in June 2024 that Lost Sector completions awarded an Exotic Engram instead of a guaranteed armor slot.
