History of Pyrogale Gauntlets

Pyrogale Gauntlets are Exotic Titan gauntlets for Sunbreaker builds.

Overview

They modify Burning Maul into a single high-damage slam that creates five flame cyclones. The second slam of Consecration creates a tracking flame cyclone. Bungie updated the perk description in October 2023 to match its gameplay; in February 2024 it extended the travel distance of Consecration's scorch and ignition waves, including with Pyrogale equipped.

Acquisition

• Exotic Armor Focusing at Master Rahool is the documented post-The Final Shape route for older Exotic armor.
• Before The Final Shape, Legend and Master Lost Sectors and Vex Strike Force were armor-unlock routes. Shacknews reported in June 2024 that Lost Sector completions awarded an Exotic Engram instead of a guaranteed armor slot.
