Overview

The Prospector Catalyst is a triumph in Destiny 2. The objective is to defeat enemies using the Prospector. Completing the triumph requires inserting the Catalyst item twice and defeating a total of 500 enemies with the weapon.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must first acquire the Prospector exotic scout rifle. The primary method of progression is accumulating kills with this specific weapon. Players need to defeat 500 enemies using the Prospector to satisfy the kill requirement.

Additionally, the triumph requires the insertion of the Catalyst item. This action must be performed two times. The Catalyst is typically obtained as a random drop from completing Vanguard strikes, Crucible matches, or Gambit matches, or from opening Engrams earned from these activities. Once the Catalyst is in the inventory, it must be inserted into the Prospector to unlock its masterwork track. This insertion process must be completed twice to fulfill the specific objective count for this triumph.

After defeating the required number of enemies and inserting the Catalyst the necessary number of times, the triumph will be marked as complete.
