History of Polymorphic Engine

Overview

The Polymorphic Engine is a Bluejay quest item used to brute-force past the Vex lockout once you hold eight Shellcode Fragments. It is step 2 of the Bluejay quest.

Acquisition

1. Collect eight Shellcode Fragments. They drop from Vex enemies in the Vex Incursion Zone while you use a Strand subclass. The zone rotates around Neomuna, so check your map for its current location.
2. Complete a Terminal Overload activity in Neomuna. It also rotates location, so check your map. Teaming up with other players is recommended.
3. Open the Terminal Overload Key Chest at the end of the activity. You need a Terminal Overload Key to open it, and it yields the Polymorphic Engine.
