History of Plaguewielder

Overview

The Plaguewielder is a Solar Chieftain variant of Scorn, ranked Major, that appears in the Enthymeme and Chiasmus encounters of Riven's Lair and The Coil. It first appeared in Season of the Wish.

Its shield blocks all damage. Players must kill groups of Scorn to draw out the Elite Mephitic Host, and killing a Host grants the Ephemeral Virus. The Virus lets players damage Plaguewielders for a 29 second window, and they must reach a well to cleanse it before it runs out.
