History of Pinnacle Ops (triumph)

Overview

Pinnacle Ops is a triumph that requires the completion of one Pinnacle Ops activity within the Vanguard Ops category. The triumph tracks the number of activities completed as its primary objective. No specific rewards or requirements are listed for this achievement.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, players must launch and finish a single Pinnacle Ops activity. These activities are distinct from other Portal categories, featuring a fireteam size of 1–3 players and objective-based scoring where defeated combatants do not influence the final reward score. Pinnacle Ops are generally longer than Fireteam Ops, with durations ranging from 10 to 40+ minutes.

Activities can be launched individually from the Portal interface. Unlike other categories, there are no quickplay playlists for Pinnacle Ops. However, matchmaking is available for specific activities—The Coil, Tomb of Elders, Onslaught, and Widow's Court—but only when they feature daily Bonus Focus rewards. Completing the mission objectives within the activity will satisfy the triumph's requirement.
