The Pilgrim Guard was a Guardian order that escorted refugees through dangerous territory toward the Last City. In Eris Morn’s account, Vell Tarlowe’s experience as a member helped him lead refugees through enemy-held areas while choosing when to fight. The available sources establish this role through Vell’s history; they do not describe the order’s full organization or lifespan.
