History of Phoenix Protocol

Phoenix Protocol is an Exotic chest armor piece for Warlocks, introduced with Destiny 2: Forsaken.

Overview

Its exotic perk is Battle-Hearth: kills and assists made while standing in your Well of Radiance return Super energy. Per one source, the first kill gives 10% Super energy and each later kill gives 1.5% less, with a floor of 4%. It suits stationary encounters with waves of enemies, such as the Blind Well, rather than boss damage phases. The flavor text is a Warlock-themed lore note about stars dying and renewing.
