History of Permeability

Overview

Permeability is a Season 23 basic trait. Using your class ability changes the weapon's damage type to match your equipped Super, until you stow the weapon.

Known issues

A community report from the Bungie Help forum says weapons with Permeability do not receive the x4 surges that exotics such as Mask of Bakris and Icefall Mantle grant on class ability use. The poster did not know whether this is a bug or an intended restriction, and no official response is shown in the thread.
