History of Peregrine Strike

Peregrine Strike is the Exotic Intrinsic perk on Peregrine Greaves. It increases the damage of airborne Shoulder Charge abilities, refunds melee energy when a charge damages a mini-boss, Tormentor, or Champion, and slightly increases the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.

Bungie’s June 9, 2026 Update 9.7.0 reduced the bonus multiplier against non-Champions and non-minibosses from 400% to 250%, and against Champions and minibosses from 1000% to 550%. The same update doubled base PvE shoulder-charge damage, so Bungie said the resulting equipped damage is higher overall.
