History of Parting the Veil

Overview

Parting the Veil is a post-campaign quest from Nimbus on Neomuna that grants new Strand Aspects. It requires finishing the Lightfall campaign. It was highlighted in Season of the Deep. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes and only needs doing once per account.

Walkthrough

1. Defeat Cabal across Neomuna to collect 10 pieces of Vex tracking data (Ahimsa Park and Lost Sectors such as Hydroponics Delta are good spots).
2. Go to Maya's Retreat and defeat the shielded Harpies while Vex waves arrive, including a Wyvern.
3. Go to the exterior of the Irkalla Complex and repeat it for more Vex data.
4. Start the "Parting the Veil" mission at the Irkalla Complex and fight through to the boss, an Imprint of Nezarec (Tormentor-class). Move to the centre platform after taking about a third of its health; Supers are suppressed by its air slam, so one-hit Supers and heavy weapons help.
5. Meditate at the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes.
6. Pick up your next Strand Aspect at the table.

Rewards

• Epochal Integration Hand Cannon.
• New Strand Aspect: Threaded Specter (Hunter), Flechette Storm (Titan) or The Wanderer (Warlock).

Notes
