History of Outlaw

Outlaw is a weapon trait: precision kills greatly decrease reload time. It rolls on Pillager, a Season 4 submachine gun, and on many other weapons.

Bungie's May 2020 balance notes lowered Outlaw's reload stat bonus from 100 to 50 and changed its reload duration scale from 0.8 to 0.9. Under the game's scale, a lower value means a larger reload bonus, so the 0.9 value was a nerf. These are 2020 values. The sources reviewed do not confirm current numbers.

Tips

• Outlaw is a reload perk, not a damage perk. It is most useful on weapons where fast reloads matter more than sustained damage.
