History of Osteo Striga

Osteo Striga is a Kinetic Exotic Submachine Gun with primary ammo, introduced with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, "Screaming Swarm", fires a stream of toxic projectiles that track the targeted enemy and inflict poison. It rolls at roughly 600 RPM with very high recoil control. It is a craftable exotic, so you can pick barrel, magazine and stock perks.

Acquisition

• The game data lists the Vox Obscura Exotic quest as its source.
• Guides (Dexerto, Blueberries.gg) describe it differently: own Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, finish the campaign to get the pattern, then shape the weapon at the Relic in the Enclave on Savathûn's Throne World. These sources say it cannot be pulled from Collections. Sources disagree on the exact route, so treat the quest step as the current in-game text.

Catalyst

Reach weapon level 10, then reshape it at the Enclave Relic. Guides cite 3 Ascendant Alloy plus Neutral Element (2,000 to 2,150, sources differ). The catalyst adds reload speed and stability, and poison final blows return ammo to the magazine.
