History of Optative (triumph)

Overview

The Optative triumph tracks the completion of Deepsight Resonance extractions for the Optative weapon. Completing these extractions on this weapon will unlock its Pattern. The triumph objective requires the player to achieve five Pattern progress completions.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must acquire the Optative, a Legendary Void Hand Cannon. The weapon was originally added during Season of the Undying and was reprised during Season of the Wish.

The Optative can be acquired through the following methods:

• Completing runs of Vex Offensive.
• Acquiring it as seasonal gear from Vex Invasion world events on the Moon.
• Obtaining it as reward loot in the "Starcrossed" Exotic Mission.
• Acquiring it through seasonal activities such as Riven's Lair and The Coil during Season of the Wish.

Once the weapon is acquired, the player must complete Deepsight Resonance extractions. The triumph tracks progress toward five required extractions to unlock the weapon's Pattern.
